What are candidate Profiles?
Macon Rising tracks the candidates appearing on ballots that affect Bibb County and Middle Georgia. This page collects publicly available information about each candidate alongside their own answers to a standard set of questions about issues that matter to our community.
Macon Rising is nonpartisan and does not endorse candidates. Listings are alphabetical within each race. Inclusion is not an endorsement; the absence of a candidate is not a judgment. If you spot an error, a missing candidate, or a broken link, submit a comment on our Contact Us page and we will correct it.
Look up your own ballot, polling place, and registration status: Georgia My Voter Page (sos.ga.gov) — the official Secretary of State lookup tool. You will need your name, date of birth, and county.
How to use this page
Elections are listed in reverse chronological order — the next election first, past elections archived at the bottom. Within each election, races are grouped by office. Within each race, candidates are listed alphabetically by last name.
Our goal is for every candidate entry to include:
Reference link — a third-party source (Ballotpedia where available; campaign website or Georgia Secretary of State candidate filing otherwise).
Questionnaire — a Google Doc containing the candidate's own answers to our questions. "No response" means we contacted the candidate and did not receive answers by [response deadline]. We will update entries when late responses arrive.
