Macon Rising was born out of urgency.

In early 2025, it became impossible to ignore what was unfolding across the country: constitutional rights under strain, due process denied, and hard-won freedoms for Women and marginalized communities steadily eroding. The tone was shifting. Toward division. Toward intolerance. Toward something we refused to accept.

So we said: ENOUGH.

Three Women came together without a roadmap, but with absolute clarity about what mattered most:

We love Macon.

We love Georgia.

We love our country.

And we believe deeply in the principles that define it.

We believe in the Constitution.
We believe in checks and balances.
We believe those protections belong to all people, no matter what you look like, where you come from, or who you love.

From that conviction, Macon Rising was created.

We are a multi-partisan coalition committed to protecting democracy through collective action and civic engagement. We bring people together, not around party lines, but around shared values: freedom, fairness, accountability, and the fundamental dignity of every person.

This is about showing up.
This is about speaking out.
This is about ensuring that our rights, and each other, are protected.
