Most of you already know that May 19 is GA’s primary, the day we will choose which candidates will appear on the November ballot for Governor, Congress, and the GA Legislature.

What many of you may NOT know is that another election on that very same day will have an even more immediate impact on our rights & our state’s future.

On Tuesday, May 19, GA voters will elect two justices to the GA Supreme Court.

Why does this matter, you ask?

Because the GA Supreme Court is the final guardrail against government overreach. The Court is the final stop for any case involving the GA Constitution, state laws & major public policy. They decide whether state laws, including laws affecting reproductive rights, voting access, and civil liberties, violate state constitutional protections. When the GA Supreme Court rules, every judge, agency, and official must follow that interpretation.

Two seats. One election. Six‑year terms. And it all happens May 19.
